20th Century Fox/Disney's movie No Exit is a thriller based off a popular novel. Every character could be guilty and the audience is always kept on their toes. I was able to contribute to the overall look and feel of the campaign as well as apply my skills as a designer, animator, and editor. The clients wanted the designs to highlight the mystery and suspense of this film.
Character Cards (Static)
Software: Photoshop
To promote this thriller movie the client wanted to play on the mystery between the characters. The characters are shrouded in darkness with an emphasis on blue and purple to keep the cold weather theme and to add more mystery, I also wanted to play with the typography and use size to emphasize certain words.
Character Pieces (Motion)
Software: Photoshop | After Effects | Premiere
These videos are introductions to each of the characters in the film and the pieces incorporate both motion and editing. The motion is subtle on the intro and gives the illusion of a calm storm, but as the intro card transitions the snow picks up and transitions into a video edit from the film. I edited the video to incorporate tracked and masked typography that emphasizes the question of whom can the audience trust.

Social Post (Motion)
Software: After Effects | Premiere
This piece was edited and designed by myself. For this video the client wanted a trailer that only showed the action portions of the film, with absolutely no context, as to not spoil the film. I wanted to keep the video fast paced and intense. I designed and animated the text in a way that emphasized the cuts and the beats in the music as well.
Social Post (Video)
Software: After Effects | Premiere
I designed and animated the text and was one of two editors for this piece. I wanted the text to emulate the look and feel I had created and wanted to play with the way the text surrounded the characters.

WARNING: JUMP SCARE
For this piece the client wanted to highlight a popular cast member, Dennis Haysbert (AllState Commercials). Dennis was able to film a custom video for us. It features him leading the user through a meditation. I wanted to use a calming image to accompany his soothing voice. Using references from the film I created a composite in Photoshop of a winter scene. I also used the trailer as a reference for the jump scare.
