I was lucky to work as a designer and motion designer for Hulu's Emmy-winning series, The Handmaid's Tale, during its fifth season. It was an amazing opportunity to collaborate with a small team and create some really cool pieces that both the fans and the client absolutely loved.
Twitter Emoji (Static)
Software: Illustrator
The client had a request for a Twitter emoji to promote the new season of The Handmaid's Tale and wanted something that conveyed an anti-Gilead message. After giving it some thought, I decided on a recognizable symbol: a flag on fire. I aimed for a design that balanced enough detail for the audience to recognize it as a flag, yet simple enough to work as a small emoji.
Social Post (Motion)
Software: Photoshop | After Effects
The client approached us with an exciting challenge: creating something special to announce Season 6 that would be loved by the fans. They even managed to get the cast on board to film the announcement video, which was super cool. My role was to design and animate the key art with the transitions.
I wanted the key art to be the star of the show, so I aimed for a simple design that would let it shine. At the same time, I also wanted to incorporate some design elements from the current season to maintain consistency and continuity.

Countdown Cards (Motion)
Software: After Effects | Premiere
I had the awesome opportunity to animate and edit the countdown pieces for the episodes. My main goal was to create anticipation and excitement among the audience. To achieve this, I carefully selected moments that were somewhat vague, giving a hint of what was to come without spoiling any major plot points. Additionally, I made sure to highlight the incredible character moments that made each episode special. By striking this balance between intrigue and character focus, I aimed to captivate and excite the audience with each countdown piece.
